The NSS Unit organized a visit to an Old Age Home on 5th February 2026 at Borivali West.
The visit aimed to spread joy, companionship, and emotional support among the elderly residents. NSS volunteers interacted with the senior citizens, engaged them in friendly conversations, and listened to their experiences and life stories. Various small activities and informal interactions were conducted to make the residents feel valued and cared for.
The volunteers also distributed small tokens and spent quality time with the residents, creating a warm and positive atmosphere. The visit helped students understand the importance of respecting and caring for the elderly in society.
The activity was a meaningful experience for the volunteers as it encouraged empathy, compassion, and social responsibility, while bringing happiness to the residents of the old age home.
