"Caring for Our Elders, Enriching Our Lives"
On Sunday, September 14, 2025, 30 NSS volunteers arranged a visit to the Manav Seva Trust’s Vridhaashram at Sakwar Village, Virar in cooperation with the Rotary Club. The visit's main goal was to provide the senior citizens with care, support, and company while encouraging the volunteers' principles of service and social responsibility. The volunteers engaged in meaningful conversations with the senior residents and listened to their life stories with respect and empathy. The volunteers' singing and dancing during the program's cultural performance, which was well received by the residents, brought a positive vibe to the event.In addition to making the old happy, the visit made the volunteers more aware of the value of showing compassion, deference, and service to the elderly.
