On the occasion of National Youth Day, the Run for Swadeshi (Marathon) was organized on Monday, 12th January 2026 at the Vidyanagari Campus, under the Physical Education Department. The marathon was organized to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda and to promote the spirit of youth participation, national pride, and the concept of Swadeshi. 13 NSS volunteers from the college participated in the event.
The volunteers actively contributed to the smooth conduct of the marathon by assisting in coordination, guiding participants, and ensuring discipline during the event. The activity helped promote fitness, awareness about Swadeshi values, and the importance of youth involvement in nation-building. The event concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation and served as an inspiring platform for students to celebrate the ideals and teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
