The NSS Unit successfully organized a 7-Day NSS Special Camp at Hamrapur village, Wada–Manor, Palghar from Sunday, 14th December to Saturday, 20th December 2025, with the objective of community development, social awareness, and holistic personality development of volunteers.
The camp commenced with a cleanliness drive at the Z.P. School and nearby bus stop, followed by a mime act on social issues. Educational and interactive activities such as a debate competition and a leadership and personality development session were conducted for Z.P. School students.
Volunteers participated in activities related to the Vanbhavi Bandhara building, performed street plays, and engaged in team-building games. Awareness sessions on guerrilla warfare and superstition, along with tree plantation, construction of a soak pit, and a toy library setup at the Z.P. School were key highlights of the camp. A village survey was conducted using the Meri Panchayat App.
The camp concluded with a street play and rally on Nasha Mukti, participation in rice harvesting, and cultural nights held on all days, which included songs, skits, dance, and patriotic performances that strengthened unity and cultural values among volunteers.
The NSS Special Camp was a meaningful experience that enhanced social responsibility, teamwork, leadership skills, and community bonding.
