The NSS Unit organized an initiative titled “Broken Beauty – Respect Beyond Worship.” During this activity, NSS volunteers collected discarded and broken idols of deities that were found on roadsides, under trees, and in public corners. The initiative aimed to promote respectful and responsible disposal of religious idols while maintaining cleanliness in public spaces.
The collected idols were handled with respect and disposed of in an eco-friendly manner, spreading awareness among the community about the importance of preserving both religious sentiments and the environment. The activity encouraged people to adopt more sustainable and respectful practices after religious worship.
