One Cause, One Community, Many Lives Saved
Marking the occasion of World Cancer Day, the NSS Unit, in collaboration with Lions Club of Mumbai, Mahavir Nagar and MeenaTai Thackeray Blood Bank, organized a Blood Donation Camp on Wednesday, 4th February 2026, in the college basement. Observing World Cancer Day added deeper significance to the initiative, highlighting how blood donation plays a vital role in supporting patients undergoing cancer treatment and recovery.
The camp received enthusiastic participation from local residents, teaching and non-teaching staff, students, and alumni. The event served as a meaningful tribute to voluntary, unpaid donors whose life-saving contributions embody compassion and social responsibility. A total of 182 units of blood were collected and handed over to the blood bank, reinforcing the collective commitment to community welfare and hope for those in need.
