The DLLE Unit and the Voter's Club conducted the second Voter ID Application Drive in the college on Saturday, 17 February, 2024 with a view to assisting those who were unable to avail of the facility in the previous week.This year, the DLLE authorities at the University of Mumbai issued special instructions to affiliated colleges to undertake this endeavour to help youngsters with the Voter ID cards. Consequently, the DLLE Unit members of the college launched the campaign in January 2024 to attain this goal. They set up desks at the entrance area in the morning to assist all those who approached them for assistance. The programme commenced at 9.30 a.m. and went on till 1.00 p.m. 18 DLLE Unit registered members helped the applicants with the registration process. A total of 146 students have been the beneficiaries through the online mode
on both the days, apart from 22 students who submitted Voter ID application forms issued by the BMC for the same purpose.
