A Faculty Training Program (FTP) on the theme “Effective Use of Artificial Intelligence in Teaching and Learning” was conducted for faculty members on Monday, 30th March 2026, at 12:00 noon, with the objective of enhancing educators’ understanding of integrating AI into modern pedagogical practices. The session was delivered by Dr. P. Murugan, a faculty member from the University of Hyderabad, who shared valuable insights into the role of Artificial Intelligence in transforming education. He discussed practical applications of AI tools in lesson planning, student engagement, and assessment, while also addressing ethical considerations and challenges in implementation. The program was interactive and informative, enabling participants to explore innovative teaching strategies and equipping them with the knowledge and skills required to effectively incorporate AI into their teaching and learning processes.A total of 35 beneficiaries attended the faculty training programme.
