The Department of B.Sc. DS organized a seminar on “Building Your Professional Identity from Day One” on Wednesday, 2nd September 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Mini Auditorium for the students of F.Y.B.Sc. DS.The seminar aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of developing a strong professional identity from the first year of their undergraduate journey. The session focused on building a professional resume, LinkedIn profile and portfolio, along with the importance of projects, certifications, internships and extracurricular activities. Students were also guided on developing a professional mindset and preparing themselves for future internships and placement opportunities.A total of 18 students attended the seminar. The aim of the seminar was successfully achieved as the students gained valuable insights into early career preparation and understood the importance of building their professional profile, developing relevant skills and preparing themselves for future opportunities in the technology industry.
