The Department of B.Com. (MS) organised an insightful seminar titled “Know How HR Works: From Classroom to Corporate” on Tuesday, 22nd September 2026, in online mode through Google Meet for F.Y.B.Com. (MS), S.Y.B.Com. (MS), and T.Y.B.Com. (MS) HR students. The seminar aimed to bridge the gap between academic learning and the practical application of Human Resource practices in the corporate sector.The session was conducted by Ms. Chitra Sharda, Executive Vice President – Human Resources and Head – Group HR, ICS Group India, who shared valuable insights from her extensive corporate HR experience. She discussed key areas including talent acquisition, employee engagement, HR policies, leadership development, and employee lifecycle management, while highlighting workplace expectations.A total of 30 students attended and actively participated in the interactive Question & Answer session. Students raised relevant queries regarding HR practices, career opportunities, corporate expectations, and professional challenges. The seminar successfully enhanced students’ practical understanding of HR functions and professional opportunities.
