The Department of B.Com (MS) organized a Leadership and Personality Development Workshop for first-year B.Com and BMS students as part of the external assessment of the NSS subject. The programme was conducted on 16th December for FY B. Com (A & F) students and on 17th December for FY B. Com (MS) students.
A total of 206 students benefited from the workshop. As part of the programme, students visited the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, which provided a natural and experiential learning environment.
The workshop was guided by trainer Mr. Nikhil Velarigudi, who conducted various interactive and activity-based sessions focusing on leadership skills and personality development. The activities included team-building exercises, group discussions, problem-solving tasks, communication skill activities, and confidence-building games. These activities encouraged students to develop qualities such as teamwork, decision-making, effective communication, self-awareness, discipline, and responsibility.
Through active participation and experiential learning, students gained practical insights into leadership qualities and personal growth. The workshop successfully enhanced students’ interpersonal skills and emphasized the importance of leadership and positive personality traits in both academic and professional life.
